AIRBUS A320 NEO BA 1/144 PAINT/GLUE

The Airbus A320 is a mid-range, low-wing, twin-engine jet airliner, primarily French-German production. The drive is provided by two turbofan engines CFM International CFM56 or IAE V2500. The flight of the prototype took place in 1987, and serial production started in 1988 and is still going on. Until the beginning of 2016, over 6,800 aircraft of this type had been produced! The Airbus A320 was created as a machine that was to be offered primarily to European and Asian carriers as a competitor of the Boeing 727 aircraft. The manufacturer, Airbus, put emphasis in the new machine primarily on the use of state-of-the-art electronics, primarily the fly-by-wire system, known from aviation military (e.g. from F-16 planes), but for the first time in a passenger plane! A new glass-cockpit avionics and a central flight management system were also used. Only a two-person crew was a complete novelty, which clearly and positively influenced the operating costs of the aircraft. Moreover, the A320 has - compared to the first serial versions - a 50% greater range than its main competitor, the Boeing 727. Due to its low reliability and the use of many avant-garde solutions, the A320 turned out to be a great commercial success of Airbus. Until 2012, aircraft of this type carried 7 billion. people and flew by 120 million. hours!
