Who's Hobby House moved to their current downtown Rapid City location in 1993. Clancy Kingsbury is the third generation owner of this family owned and operated business.

Who's Hobby House was founded in 1950 by William H. Osterburg, his initials are where the hobby shop retained it's name. In 1957, Mr. Kingsbury's grandparents acquired the shop, beginning the Kingsbury legacy, in 1978, his dad bought it, and in 1991, Clancy gained control.

Who's Hobby House is marked by an iconic neon sign. The sign was created in 1951, and is now in the National Registry of Historic Signs.

Who's Hobby was named Hobby Store of the Year by Model Retailer Magazine and the National Retail Hobby Stores Association (NRHSA). The award was presented to Clancy Kingsbury, owner of Who's Hobby House, in 2000, at the NRHSA Table Top Expo in the Las Vegas Hilton. The award's criteria included the store's appearance, community involvement, and promotion.

Who's Hobby House sponsors South Dakota School of Mines' Areo Design Team. The Aero Design Team is a team of students that design and fly small-scale, radio-controlled aircraft under specified weight requirements. The team has won numerous national, as well as international awards.

Who's Hobby House sponsors the South Dakota School of Mines Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Team. The vehicles this team creates are autonomous, or fully controlled by computers on-board the vehicle. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Team explores the frontier of aerial robotics. The team would like to someday develop new technologies to be used in both commercial and military UAV’s.

Who's Hobby House also makes donations to local groups in and around the Rapid City area - the Optimists Club, Well Spring, and Youth and Family Services.
